Laser-Cut Card Stand

It was a very last minute holiday project. From start to finish, from plan to construction, from YouTube video to a Popular Woodworking article, it was all completed in the Sunday afternoon before Christmas 2019. That’s what I get for downing that second cup of coffee late in the morning!

Anyway, I created a display for holiday cards by using a tree I designed a few years ago and coming up with a simple base to plant the trees and hold greeting cards. The trees were cut out of 1/8″ plywood with a laser cutter, but you should be able to get just as good results on a CNC with a 1/8″ bit.
